깊이는 처음부터 존재하지 않는다. 몇 번이고 다시 바라보는 몰입의 시간을 통해 만들어진다. 수없이 던진 질문과 반복된 시도, 실패의 궤적을 지나며 비로소 하나의 형태를 갖춘다. 디자인은 얕은 표면을 덧붙이는 일이 아니라, 보이지 않는 본질을 향해 끊임없이 파고드는 일이다. 우리는 더 나은 답을 찾기 위해 의심하고, 다시 바라보고, 때로는 처음으로 돌아가는 과정을 반복한다. 그 시간은 마침내 디자이너로서 정립해야 할 흔들리지 않는 태도가 된다.
『깊이를 만들고 단단해지는 것들』
그렇게 축적된 시간은 오늘, 66명이 각자의 방식으로 만들어낸 서로 다른 형태의 깊이가 되었다. 저마다의 영역에서 파고든 깊이는 결코 흔들리지 않을 우리의 현재다. 이 전시에서 비로소 완성된 우리의 깊이를 마주하고, 시간이 묵묵히 쌓아 올린 단단함의 가치를 함께 발견하기를 바란다.
Depth does not exist from the start. It is forged through moments of immersion — of looking and looking again. It takes shape along the traces of countless questions, ceaseless attempts, and failures. Design is not about embellishing the surface; it is an enduring pursuit of the invisible essence. In search of better answers, we question, re-examine, and even return to the beginning at times. At last, this crystallizes into an unwavering, grounded attitude as designers.
"THE WEIGHT OF DEPTH"
Now, the accumulated time manifests as 66 distinct forms of depth. The depth we have cultivated in our own domains stands as our unwavering present. In this exhibition, we invite you to encounter the depth we have brought to fruition, and to discover the value of solidity silently built by time.
